Flex Some Muscle to Help Your Rescue Service Save Lives

RPTM personal trainer Vanessa Creeley, RACQ CQ Rescue Air Crewman Quinton Rethus, RPTM trainer Billie-Jane Frost, Rescue Crewman Arno Schoonwinkel and RPTM owner Linda Rankin are ready to raise funds for the region’s rescue helicopter at Bootcamp for a Cause this Sunday at 8.30am.

A little muscle and a lot of fun will help raise funds for the region’s rescue helicopter service this weekend.

RPTM (Results Personal Training Management) is holding a mass participation boot camp suitable for all ages and fitness levels this Sunday, May 28, with the proceeds being donated to RACQ CQ Rescue’s Annual Appeal.

RPTM owner Linda Rankin said between 80 and 100 people would sweat it out at Bootcamp for a Cause from 8.30am Sunday at the Souths Leagues Club grounds on Milton Street.

“RACQ CQ Rescue is a fantastic organisation and this is the second year we’ve held the boot camp to raise funds to help keep them in the air,” she said.

“You just never know when you or a loved one will need their services so we encourage everyone to come down on Sunday, join in the fun and help us raise some money for this great community service which saves hundreds of lives every year.”

The cost to participate in the one-hour boot camp is $15 and participants could register online at the RPTM Facebook page or on the day, Ms Rankin said.

“There will be representatives from Mass Nutrition and Rockwear in attendance and goodie bags for the first 80 participants who sign up,” she said.

“If you have some energy left at the end of the session, you can jump on a bike and mix up your own fruit smoothie with Active Blendz, the proceeds also going towards RACQ CQ Rescue.”
