The 25-year-old woman, believed to be from Nebo, was riding a horse when she fell about 11.30am on a property near Hail Creek, about 100km south-west of Mackay.

She suffered head, spinal and pelvic injuries including fractures and was conscious when the helicopter arrived at the accident scene, landing in a grassy clearing, about 12.30pm.
