Want to help fuel a rescue mission and support our region’s rescue helicopter but you don’t carry change?
With so many in our community ditching cash in favour of cards, RACQ CQ Rescue has introduced Tap and Donate terminals at various local business which will enable cardholders to quickly and easily make a $2 donation to our rescue helicopter service.
It’s a swift and pain-free transaction that has huge benefits for the rescue helicopter service which helps save hundreds of lives every year.
Keep an eye out – the Tap and Donate terminals sit alongside the traditional RACQ CQ Rescue donation boxes at the Caltex service stations at Northern Beaches, Malcomson Street, Paget and Nebo Road, the two Coffee Clubs at Caneland Central and Coffee Club in Wood Street as well as the café at Mackay Airport. There are also two terminals being installed at Moranbah Airport with more planned across the region.
So even if you don’t carry spare change, you can still donate and help keep our service flying to the rescue across Central and North Queensland.
